TV

“Super Trio Game Master” is a really famous TV entertainment show in Hong Kong. Every Sunday night, it comes out. In each episode, they have different starts come and play their games. It may make fun with those starts, but it makes audience happy. It is really for us to watch. I always watch this TV show with my family, and it can always laugh and feel harmonious.

        We went to the Museum of Contermporary Photography in our field trip. It is a museum that full of photo and i was having a lot of fun. Also, we did two interview for people who visting the museum.

“The Only Way to Have a Cow”

I just eat when I feel Hungry.

I never think deeper as I have been told by this reading. Eating meet is making the environment go worse. And it is even worse than driving a car. However, it says like that, “Even though people know that eating meat make a bad environment, people still keep eating meat."

Movies

               In 2003, Aron Ralston (James Franco) is in an adventure alone in Blue John Canyon. Unfortunately, he fall down into a canyon and he is trapped. A big rock traps his right arm. He yells out loud for help, but there is no one at the canyon and no one can hear he’s yelling. He has very less food and water. At the beginning, he tries many ways to make the rock moves in order to get out of this canyon, but it doesn’t work at all. As a result, he want to give up and start to make video, saying things to their family members, trying to not to be regret. He realizes that there is only one way can help him, which is cut down him arm, so he use him little knife and start to do it. We all know how painful it is, a person use a knife to cut his own arm down. However, no matter how painful it is, he is not giving up. He recalls his childhood and his family when he wants to give up. Those recalls give power to him. Finally, he cuts his right arm down and get out of the canyon. Fortunately, a couple found him and gives him water and calls the police for help. Then the helicopter comes and he is helped.

Music

            I have tons of favorite songs. Jay Chou is a very popular singer in China and he is my favorite singer since I was 9 years old. I love him because I love his style of how he songs. So then, all of the songs that he made, he sang, make me love him and his song. Also, my favorite type of music is rap and this is the type of music that Jay Chou made, so it makes me love him more and more.

Reading

         

          According to the reading ‘Custom-Made’, I just realize that different countries have their own style of food even the same food that have, they make it in a different way. I knew McDonald’s when I was in China. Also, now I go to McDonald’s offend and I know that both have different menu. However, I never thing about this problem, which is different countries make their own style of food, but now I know it.

Cultural Identity

      After this Culture Identity Unit, I have learned a lot about other culture that I have never known. I learned that people would like to live with others whom are basically like themselves. Religion, lifestyle, education, economy. People thing that it is more comfortable to live with them and it is more easier. But why people live others whom are not like them in other to learn new things and new culture just like our class, people are from different countries and have different culture. We are all interested in different culture.
